KASTAMONU Became Co-organizer of the International Festival of School Teachers
Over the course of four years KASTAMONU took part as a sponsor and co-organizer in the International Festival of School Teachers, which is held by the Yelabuga Institute of the Kazan (Volga region) Federal University. This year KASTAMONU sponsors the visit of A. Cendel Karaman, Associate Professor of the Middle East Technical University in Ankara (Turkey).

The Festival of School Teachers is an international platform for sharing experience in effective education management. Specialists from the USA, Germany, Israel, Singapore, Holland, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria and other countries took part in the festival over the years. School teachers from Russia and abroad, who have great achievements in their professional activities, play an important role in the holding of the festival.
The participation in the festival gives the participants the opportunity not only to present their work to a wide range of specialists, but to get exclusive information about the state of education in different countries.
KASTAMONU was established in 1969 as a part of the holding HAYAT, which has been working since 1937. The annual production of wood boards at the KASTAMONU plants amounts to 5 million m3, including 2.45 million m3 of MDF and 2.55 million m3 of particleboards. KASTAMONU enters the top five largest companies in the wood processing industry in Europe. The company specializes in the manufacturing of MDF wood boards, particleboards, laminate flooring, door skin panels, glossy panels and tabletops. Its annual turnover in 2015 amounted to €1 billion.
