KASTAMONU Launches Corporate Social Project
Due to numerous requests and initiative of KASTAMONU employees, in 2019 a new stage of the social project for the employee families was launched at the plant. Under the project the families of wood processing plant employees once a quarter will be able to visit the plant with a guided tour. Another group of tourists visited the company on May 25, 2019.
The project goal is to familiarize children and adult family members with the plant their parents work at. The visit program included watching a film about the company, a conversation with management and employees, an educational quiz, a tour around the plant and informal communication. It is assumed that during a few months the plant will be visited by several hundred family members of workers, which is unique for such enterprises.
“The key to success in business and in production is the development of the workforce and corporate culture,” noted Ali Kılıç, General Director of KASTAMONU in Russia. “Our employees are highly involved in their work, ready to provide help and support to their colleagues, they have respectful attitude towards each other. Thanks to the implementation of this program, we expect to demonstrate to the employees’ families their working conditions, thereby creating a comfortable atmosphere of mutual understanding not only at work, but also in the family circle.”
