KASTAMONU Demonstrates a New Product Line at the Exhibition Furniture-2014

Within the scope of the 26th international exhibition Furniture-2014 KASTAMONU company demonstrates the product line for furniture production that is unique in terms of its physical and mechanical characteristics.

KASTAMONU for the first time represents new products from its woodworking plant that has been recently opened in the SEZ «Alabuga» (Republic of Tatarstan). MDF is the main product manufactured at the «Alabuga» plant and used in furniture production. Polished MDF (59%) and laminate MDF (41%) are prevailing in the structure of KASTAMONU Russian sales.

The Russian MDF market is intensively developing. The aggregate production capacity of this industry’s enterprises is approximately 2.1-2.2 million m3 per year. The market volume is estimated at 2.2-2.3 million m3 per year. The monthly MDF output of the «Alabuga» plant today amounts to 30 thousand m3. After the enterprise has achieved the designed capacity, MDF production will reach the level of 475-500 thousand m3 per year. This level will be higher than that of any of its competitors.

The newest line of gloss MDF - EvoGloss furniture facades is also presented at the exhibition for the first time. The company’s plans include the beginning in 2015 of this product manufacture at the «Alabuga» plant. On 25 November EvoGloss will be presented for potential customers at a dealers’ seminar.

The international exhibition Furniture, Accessories, and Soft Furnishings (Furniture-2014) is held from on 24 to 28 November in Moscow. This year 712 companies from 30 countries of Europe, Asia and America participate in the exhibition.
