11 jule 2018

At the invitation of headmaster of the Alabuga International School, KASTAMONU conducted 2 open lessons for children aged 5-7 years and 10-12 years. Svetlana Klimenko, head of the quality and certification department of KASTAMONU, based the lessons on the recreational chemistry.

During the lesson, children got to know what chemical science is and how it relates to our daily life. Schoolchildren watched chemical experiments, as well as got the opportunity to independently conduct some experiments.

"A few months ago, when the teachers and students from the Alabuga International School visited KASTAMONU, we saw the importance of such interaction," said Ali Kılıç, General Director of KASTAMONU. "It was very interesting for children to visit a large-scale production, see how it works and what environmental projects it implements. Continuing this work in classes, telling children in open lessons about complex processes in simple words and on the example of fascinating experiments, we strive to develop in them an interest to further understanding of the world around us and taking care of it."

Let us recall that the training in the Alabuga International School is conducted in English under the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The school program offers a balanced set of training sessions and extra-curricular activities that are aimed at the education and development of curious, erudite and caring young people. The educational program covers the study of the English language, mathematics, natural sciences, social science, art and physical education, while special attention is paid to research activities.
