KASTAMONU Extends Presence in the Ukrainian market
In 2016, KASTAMONU entered the Ukrainian market with the products of the Tatarstan-based plant. The company has signed a contract with the largest Ukrainian door manufacturer (New Style) on the supply of MDF boards. Today, the policy of KASTAMONU is aimed at not only securing a foothold in the Ukrainian market, but also expanding its presence. For this purpose, the company conducts a presentation of the latest samples of its products and working meetings with potential partners at the Inter Build Expo 2017 international exhibition.
Inter Build Expo 2017 is the most important professional event in the field of construction and architecture, design and housing arrangement, project development and repair. It is held from March 29 to April 1 in Kiev.

At the moment KASTAMONU sells MDF boards in Ukraine, however, the company plans to start supplying EvoGloss glossy panels and Floorpan laminate. Let us note that today the geography of the company's export sales includes more than 20 countries in Europe (including the EU) and Asia.
KASTAMONU was established in 1969 as a part of the holding HAYAT, which has been working since 1937. The annual production of wood boards at the KASTAMONU plants amounts to 5 million m3, including 2.45 million m3 of MDF and 2.55 million m3 of particleboards. KASTAMONU enters the top five largest companies in the wood processing industry in Europe. The company specializes in the manufacturing of MDF wood boards, particleboards, laminate flooring, door skin panels, glossy panels and table tops. In 2015 its annual turnover amounted to €1 billion.
