KASTAMONU Develops Cooperation with Alabuga Corporate University

Within the framework of development of personnel potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, the fourth wave of the Alabuga Corporate University program - the only professional accelerator in the sphere of industrial management in Russia - is being held. KASTAMONU joined the work of the University and welcomed the students of the program.

Heads of the KASTAMONU subdivisions conducted practical courses on industrial project management, disclosed the topics of planning, construction and operation of production. A separate place in the training program was devoted to the issues of environmental safety, logistics, work with raw materials, as well as personnel policy.

"Highly qualified and professional staff is a very important aspect of activities of any large enterprise," said Ali Kılıç, General Director of KASTAMONU in Russia. "The availability of complex production requires the mid-level management personnel of special competencies. In its turn, the Corporate University should substantially simplify the resolution of the personnel issue for many companies. We expect that some of its graduates will be able to apply their knowledge and skills in our company."

The curriculum of the Corporate University is aimed at the possibility of obtaining knowledge and skills in various aspects of the implementation of industrial projects from directors of the largest enterprises. Ali Kılıç, General Director of KASTAMONU in Russia, is one of the teachers of the Corporate University. To date, KASTAMONU is Europe's largest platform for the production of MDF boards located under one roof (more than 1 million cubic meters of MDF per year), and the second largest resident of the Alabuga SEZ (€ 400 million).

In the course of training, each student implements an independent large-scale project - forms a business plan for the construction of a new plant, devises ways to attract a large foreign investor or create a new SEZ. The Corporate University of the Alabuga SEZ annually receives 3,000 applications from all over Russia to find 75 outstanding candidates and patriots of their business. The final selection includes about 20 people.
