In the context of cooperation with the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Kazan National Research University, KASTAMONU was visited by students of the Chemical Wood Technology department. Through the example of Europe's largest production site for the production of MDF boards and laminate flooring, the students of the university got acquainted with peculiarities of production, product range, used equipment and technologies implemented in the fields of production, ecology and quality.

Ali Kılıç, General Director of KASTAMONU in Russia, spoke about the features of the wood processing industry and answered numerous questions of the students, noting the importance of establishing an effective interaction between the higher education and real production.

“Today, in the period of intensive development of technologies, effective specialized training of future workers in the wood processing industry cannot be implemented without studying technological processes directly in real production”, noted Ali Kılıç. “And we have something to show and tell students with relevant knowledge and skills, as the technologies and equipment used at the plant are from leading global manufacturers. Here they can fully familiarize themselves with modern engineering solutions for organizing production and providing it with the necessary resources.”

During the tour, the students got acquainted with the line of delivery and processing of wood raw materials, MDF pressing line, line for the laminate flooring production and other facilities.

Let us remind that KASTAMONU closely cooperates with various educational institutions within the framework of the strategy for the training of highly qualified specialists.
