KASTAMONU Plant Was Visited by Pupils
Last week, the KASTAMONU plant was visited by teachers and pupils from the Alabuga International School, which is a structural subdivision of the Alabuga SEZ. The purpose of this visit was to familiarize children and teachers with the production, show the importance of taking care of the environment at a large enterprise using the example of environmental projects implemented by KASTAMONU.
The educational process in the Alabuga International School is organized in English under the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The school program offers a balanced set of training sessions and extra-curricular activities that are aimed at the education and development of curious, erudite and caring young people.
"Our plant has a multinational team, and for children such visit will certainly be a great help in the development of intercultural understanding and respect," noted Ali Kılıç, General Director of KASTAMONU in Russia. "Our employees prepared informative case studies about the company, children watched a corporate film and conducted a tour of the production. The key topic of the visit was the environmental projects of KASTAMONU. Children were told about the importance of environmental activities in the modern world by the example of the large production complex."
