Laminate

Should I inspect laminate before installing?
Yes. This is a mandatory rule. After the laminate has been kept for 48 hours in the premises where it will be laid, you need to open the packing and carefully examine each board. If you find mechanical damage, structural defects, mismatch of colors or errors in the decorative drawing, you can put aside the defective board before you start installation. After making sure that laminate does not have any defects, you may proceed to the assembly.

Should I mix floorboards from the same batch by tones when laying?
When assembling laminate, you should take into account the features of the decorative pattern. Light and dark panels should be consistently and evenly mixed over the entire floor surface, so that after installing in the premises there is no gradient transition from light to dark tones.
