From May 14 to May 15, Kazan hosted a traditional marathon, which this year was attended by more than 12,000 people from 81 regions of Russia and 17 countries of the world. This year's marathon was dedicated to environmental protection and attention to ecology.

The Kastamonu team took part in the Kazan Marathon – the main event of the Timerman series of sports starts in Tatarstan. The race has been held since 2015, and it is included in the list of the largest marathons in Russia and has twice hosted the Russian Marathon Championship on its track. The Kazan Marathon traditionally includes four distances of 3, 10, 21 and 42 km.

Kastamonu employees successfully overcame a 10-kilometer distance – a running tour across the main sights of the city with a unique opportunity to see the most beautiful places of the capital of Tatarstan.

“Since the establishment of the company, we have regularly participated in various sports events – regional football tournaments, races, and even in the festival of creative sleds. At the same time, our athletes often achieve high results and win prizes. Employees are happy to go to such events, and this is a great opportunity for all of us to unite, strengthen team spirit, establish closer and friendly relations throughout the team,” said Ali Kılıç, CEO of Kastamonu Russia.
