The company's team won the first place in one of the nominations of the Creative Sleigh Festival, which is annually held in Tatarstan. This year, more than 50 teams from all over Russia came to win a victory.

On February 6, 2021, the fifth anniversary Creative Sleigh Festival SunnyFEST was held in the city of Mamadysh. At the opening ceremony, introductory remarks were made by Ismet Erikan, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan, who noted the importance of cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Turkey in cultural events that unite people.

In October 2020, the cities of Mamadysh in Tatarstan and Selçuk in the Republic of Turkey signed a twinning agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, the parties encourage all types of cultural and social events, such as exhibitions and fairs, which allow the peoples of Russia and Turkey to get to know each other better. The parties also plan to cooperate in the field of information support of the mentioned events.

The Kastamonu team won the first place at the festival in the “Rolled downhill” nomination for the longest path travelled by sleigh. The vehicle was made in the shape of a bull, the symbol of the year 2021.

Comments by Ali Kılıç, CEO of Kastamonu Russia:

“Such events are a great opportunity to form a corporate culture and maintain a team spirit, which is undoubtedly important at work. Being in a circle of like-minded people, a person creates a favourable atmosphere around them, conducive to healthy relationships within the team and an increase in labour productivity.”

This year, an unusual record was set at the festival: a pancake with a diameter of 2.51 meters was baked in an 800 kg frying pan.
