Kastamonu confirmed compliance of MDF boards with GOST standards


Evoglass glossy MDF panels by Kastamonu have been certified for compliance with GOST standards. Kastamonu is one of the largest wood processing enterprises in Russia, which sells products in the domestic market and in dozens of countries all over the world.

The renewal of the GOST certificate for MDF boards means that company’s products fully comply with technical and environmental requirements for fiberboard on the territory of the Russian Federation. The parameters to evaluate MDF include the strength of the board during bending and stretching, the hardness of the decorative coating and its resistance to stain formation, the amount of formaldehyde released into the atmosphere, and many others.

Evogloss MDF boards by Kastamonu are supplied to 10 countries: Lithuania, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Tajikistan, Estonia, Finland, Romania and Azerbaijan. At the same time, the share of products sent for export is 26% – almost a third of the total amount of boards produced.

Evogloss glossy panels are highly resistant to mechanical damage and scratches and are characterized by high strength. In addition, a special protective layer from UV rays protects the decorative coating of panels from fading. Glossy MDF panels are widely used in the production of furniture facades and in the decoration of premises.
