Kastamonu expanded its range of laminate floorings

Kastamonu, which is No. 1 laminate and MDF manufacturer in Russia, has updated the Floorpan laminate line with the Amber collection – it has been supplemented with six new decors of the 33rd class of wear resistance.

The flagship Floorpan line includes twelve laminate collections from the 31st to the 34th class of wear resistance with different sizes and thicknesses of floorboards: Green, Orange, Red, Yellow, Black, Blue, Cherry, Emerald, Ruby, Ultramarine, Nanoclick and a new collection called Amber. The shades of the new decors are mostly grey and are more suitable for Scandinavian-style interiors. This is a versatile style that satisfies common preferences in the field of comfort.

"Comfort, practicability, affordability, an atmosphere of naturalness and harmony with the surrounding world is what the consumer is looking for. We regularly monitor trends and adapt to the request of the audience, offering a sought-after product. The inspiration for the creation of the new Kastamonu laminate collection was northern cities and the waters of the Baltic Sea – great spaces folded in freshness, natural beauty and architectural uniqueness," commented Ali Kılıç, CEO of Kastamonu Russia.

The advantages of the Floorpan laminate are a wide range of design solutions and high quality technical characteristics, quick and easy assembly, environmental safety and ease of maintenance. Such floors are ideal for both home and commercial premises.

The Kastamonu plant for the production of MDF, HDF boards and laminate floorings has been operating in Tatarstan since 2014. In March 2021, the company launched the third laminate production line in record-setting time. Thanks to this, the annual volume of laminate floorings produced at the plant in the Alabuga SEZ has reached 45 million m2.

In August 2021, the analytical agency WhatWood conducted a study of the Russian laminate and MDF market, where it compared the shares of the largest manufacturers of the wood processing industry. According to the results of the study, Kastamonu ranks first in Russia in terms of laminate and MDF production as of 2021.
