Kastamonu has confirmed the international level of its management system

The plant has successfully passed the audit of its integrated management system for compliance with international standards and received relevant documents from the certification body TUV NORD CERT (Germany).

An integrated management system (IMS) is a part of a company's general management system that meets the requirements of two or more international standards and functions as a whole.

Kastamonu has been certified for compliance with IMS requirements of three international standards simultaneously: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. These standards govern the company’s activities in the field of product quality, environmental policy and a safe and healthy working environment.

“The company’s compliance with the highest international standards is one of the priority conditions for Kastamonu’s activity. The company regularly passes external audits in relation to compliance with the requirements of Russian and international standards in the field of product quality, environmental protection and occupational safety and health, as well as management,” said Ali Kılıç, CEO of Kastamonu Russia.

Globally, the implementation and further regular IMS certification help the plant to improve the resource efficiency, ensure consistency of actions within the organization, ensure continuous improvement of labour conditions and product quality, increase the satisfaction of potential customers, suppliers and other interested parties, as well as increase employee motivation and create conditions for the development of a single corporate culture.
